What is most important for a proper tasting is to have the wine at an appropriate temperature, have quality glassware that allows you to effectively look at and taste it, and to be in an environment which is free from extremes (i.e. temp/smells/strong food or perfumes etc.) It never hurts to take notes for future reference.
Tasting wine should be an enjoyable and refreshing part of your day. We make wines so you can enjoy them. Whether this is simply quaffing it from a Solo cup on the beach or in a controlled tasting environment is up to you. The beauty of wine lies in its' alchemical ability to increase the pleasure of your food, your company,your surroundings and your life.
