Our White Wines

2011 ALBA COR

Refreshingly different, this wine is made with a nod to the Alsacienne wines of northern France. Gewurztraminer adds spicy honeysuckle and floral spring aromas, while the Pinot Gris contributes vibrant pear and melon, refreshing acidity and structure. Co-fermented in a Nomblot concrete tank.

  • Varietals: 52% Pinot Gris / 48% Gewurztraminer
  • Vineyard: Celilo Vineyard
  • Appellation: Columbia Gorge
  • Fermentation: Concrete
  • Time in Concrete Tank: 5 months
  • Bottled: March 2012

2011 RIESLING

Produced as a testament to our belief in Rieslings’ claim to the throne as king of whites, this wine bursts with lemon, peach and wildflower honey tea. From a young block at 1000 feet of elevation on Underwood Mountain, this wine has bright acidity, supple viscosity and a lingering, lip smacking minerality.

  • Vineyard: Underwood Mountain Vineyards
  • Appellation: Columbia Gorge
  • Fermentation: Stainless Steel
  • Bottled: March 2012

2009 OLD HWY

60% Sauvignon Blanc, 30% Riesling, 10% Viognier

Crisp, dry and refreshing, this blend is assembled from two vineyards that lie on historic Old Highways, one in Mosier, OR and the other our estate vineyard here in Lyle. With aromas of d'Anjou pear, passion fruit and lime, it is the perfect match for hor d'oeuvres, salads and seafood.

  • Vineyard: Columbia View Vineyard, Mosier, OR and COR Estate Vineyard, Lyle, WA
  • Fermentation: Sauvignon Blanc: 100% neutral French Oak / Riesling/Viognier: Stainless Steel
  • Bottled: April 2010
